Dr. Chris Chase is a professor in the Department of Veterinary and Biomedical Sciences at South Dakota State University. His specialty areas include virology, immunology, cattle, swine and vaccinology. Dr. Chase teaching immunology, cellular and molecular biology, and applied microbiology and biotechnology. He was named Veterinarian of the Year by the South Dakota Veterinary Medical Association and received the FO Butler Foundation Excellence in Research faculty award.
