Wes Kezar, a ruminant nutritionist, joined Pioneer Hi-Bred in 1983. Currently Dr. Kezar is a Dairy Specialist. In this role, he calls on major dairy accounts and conducts training for Pioneer account managers and dealers to more fully understand the nutrition aspects of the dairy business. In doing so, this knowledge provides Pioneer Representatives the ability to add more value to their customers. During the first 10 years of his career with Pioneer, Dr. Kezar conducted numerous applied research projects on the quality of corn silage, high moisture ear corn and alfalfa. These studies were in cooperation with major universities in the western United States. For 14 years, Dr. Kezar was the Sales Manager for Pioneer in 11 western states.

Prior to joining Pioneer, Dr. Kezar held teaching and research appointments at the University of Minnesota and Montana State University. Kezar received a bachelor’s degree from Montana State University, and a master’s degree and doctorate from Oregon State University.

Wes and his wife Patrice live in Boise, Idaho.
